Prepare your taste buds for an exhilarating culinary showdown at Swing Barrel in Moorhead, MN on August 3rd, 2024, from 4 pm to 8 pm. Heroes Compass proudly presents its inaugural Wing Cook-Off, an event crafted to celebrate delectable eats, foster community camaraderie, and honor our local heroes.

Impact
The Wing Cook-Off is more than just a cooking competition – it's an opportunity for us to make a meaningful impact in our community. By bringing people together to enjoy delicious food and friendly competition, we aim to:
1. Raise Awareness: Through this event, we hope to raise awareness about the important work Heroes Compass does in supporting our local heroes, including military veterans, police officers, firefighters, and first responders.
2. Foster Community Engagement: The Wing Cook-Off provides a platform for community members to come together, connect, and show their support for our heroes. It's a chance for neighbors to meet, share stories, and build stronger bonds.
3. Generate Funds: Proceeds from the Wing Cook-Off will directly benefit our initiatives, such as our care package program, veteran outings, and other support services. These funds will enable us to continue our mission of empowering and honoring our heroes.
4. Celebrate Our Heroes: Above all, the event is a celebration of our local heroes and their contributions to our community. It's an opportunity to express our gratitude and appreciation for their service and sacrifices.

Contestants:
Calling all military, veterans, and first responders! Enter our cook-off for a chance to showcase your culinary skills. No entry fee, and we'll provide the wings. Top 3 contestants will receive a plaque from North Woods Workshop. Limited outlet space, so bring your wood, charcoal, or propane grills!
Supportive Patrons:
Join us throughout the day and make a free-will donation. Every contribution helps us fund our care package initiative and support various veteran outings and initiatives.
